The Ouseburn Trust – an independent community-based Development Trust – is seeking an inspirational and highly effective leader to take the Trust into an exciting new phase of strategic development.
The charity is looking to expand its property portfolio and so is looking for an individual with experience of regeneration and strategic development, fundraising, team management and the ability to manage a complex fast-changing portfolio of activities.
You will have a genuine interest in the Ouseburn Valley and in the work of the Trust and must be committed to upholding the organisation’s values around inclusivity, transparency, creativity, sustainability, excellence, continuity, positivity and responsiveness. We seek someone who can work collaboratively and effectively with the Board and who can bring both vision and energy to the role.

The Ouseburn Trust was established in 1996 and is fully committed to a role in regenerating the Ouseburn Valley. It works closely with a wide range of stakeholders and partners to regenerate this historic part of central Newcastle with the intention of creating a diverse and economically successful ‘urban village’ that has a strong emphasis on the arts and creative industry sectors.
