Sit 'N' 'B' Fit CIC’s core value is to provide gentle exercise in order to maintain and sustain independent living. Using a holistic approach, Reiki methods and Personal Trainers, Sit 'N' 'B' Fit are able to provide fun, physical and social activities in order to improve general wellbeing in older and less mobile people. Our exercises encourage everyone who takes part to become more active in their daily lives. Through this the Sit 'N' 'B' Fit programmes can provide an early intervention and prevention of many health problems. Our methods have been proven to be able to reduce the risk of falls, combat obesity, therefore reducing the risk if Type 2 Diabetes, and create a sense of confidence in yourself. All of the Sit 'N' 'B' Fit team are all professionally trained and qualified to national standards, holding KFA (Keep Fit Association) Certificates, First Aid, Mature Moves and Heart Start qualifications. Our programmes can be delivered at Community Centres, Day Centres, Sheltered Accommodation, or even in your own home.
