The main focus of the Key Fund is to support the development and growth of enterprises with social aims. Our work empowers communities by delivering financial aid, support and advice, to facilitate the creation and growth of sustainable social businesses. The objective is to remove the barriers within the financial markets that help propagate poverty and disadvantage.We’re looking for a committed, experienced individual to help deliver our key objectives in the North East as part of the wider expansion of our services. Based within the offices of one of our main Partners in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, the hours will be 37.5 per week, with extensive travel across the North East region (occasionally beyond) and regular attendance at the Key Fund central office in Sheffield expected.
You’ll need to demonstrate experience of transaction management in a financial services environment, including: the sourcing, development and assessment of investment proposals (loans and equity); after care services; and management of external relationships with partners and stakeholders.
