Sustrans, the charity that’s enabling people to travel by foot, bike or public transport for more of the journeys we make every day, is seeking to fill a key role in the Research & Monitoring Unit. The Unit is responsible for cycling/walking route usage monitoring throughout the UK and a very positive individual is needed to support work on a cycling and walking related project of national significance.
This post is to support the delivery of specific elements on several key themes and in relation to a number of projects, particularly co-ordinating all aspects of the monitoring and evaluation requirements of our travel actively portfolio as well as our Active Travel projects, taking responsibility for data collection, analysis, reporting and communication.
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have strong analytical skills, experience and understanding of monitoring and evaluation methods, tools, procedures and practices and have demonstrable experience in the evaluation of active travel and physical activity behaviour. You will also have excellent communications and number skills, be a self-starter with an enthusiastic approach and committed to sustainable transport.
