We are currently recruiting for a full time Regional Peripatetic Support Worker to join our team in the Midlands region which will include supporting individuals within Rugby, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
About Me Care & Support is a social enterprise of Deafblind UK, working with people who have a sensory impairment and may have other learning difficulties and disabilities.
Our support provides personalised, community-inclusive care and support solutions to adults.
This permanent role requires the Regional Peripatetic Support Worker to carry out planned and rapid response support hours across the Midlands Region as required and possibly at short notice and will require the successful candidate to have a flexible approach to work. This role will involve a high degree of travel and driving (travel will paid as per our expenses policy).
The role is to support a variety of our clients to maintain an independent lifestyle by enabling them to make meaningful choices, reducing isolation and improving access to information, communication and mobility and provide support in all aspects of daily living and in a personalised way.
The role is full time 39 hours per week. The hours are to cover support across the region and although many hours are Monday to Friday you will also be required to cover evenings and weekends. Agreed rota’s will be in place for this post however due to responsive nature of the cover required we cannot always plan for all hours.
